What We Treat

Addiction rarely shows up alone, so we treat the whole picture.

Addiction rarely shows up alone. More often than not, it’s tangled up with something else, anxiety that never quiets down, depression that makes getting out of bed feel impossible, or a mental health struggle that substances were originally trying to numb. That’s why our IOP is built to treat co-occurring disorders together, not as separate problems to work through one at a time. We treat the whole picture, because that’s the only way real, lasting recovery actually works.

We specialize in dual diagnosis care, which means our clinical team is trained to understand how addiction and mental health conditions feed into and reinforce each other. Anxiety and depression are two of the most common conditions we see alongside substance use, but every person’s picture looks a little different, and every treatment plan reflects that. Everything we do is trauma informed, because so much of addiction and mental health struggle is rooted in experiences that deserve to be understood with care and patience. That includes somatic support, because trauma isn’t just something you think about, it’s something that lives in the body. We incorporate somatic approaches to help you recognize and work with what’s happening in your nervous system, not just what’s happening in your head. We’re not interested in treating symptoms in isolation. We’re interested in understanding the whole person in front of us.

Our IOP offers a level of care that’s serious enough to create real change, without requiring you to put your entire life on hold. This is community based recovery: you stay connected to your daily life, your relationships and your responsibilities, while getting the structured clinical support you need to actually heal. We treat co-occurring disorders within a recovery model that’s built around connection, to yourself, to a community of peers who get it, and to the people who care about you.

Based in Northfield, we work with young men navigating substance use treatment and mental health care side by side, in an environment that takes both seriously. Our goal is the same: help you understand what’s actually going on, build real skills to manage it, and find a way forward that’s sustainable, not just for the length of this program, but for the life you’re building after it.
