Our Community

Northfield based, welcoming clients from across the Chicago area.

Why We Call It Community IOP

We call ourselves a community IOP on purpose. For us, it means treatment that lives inside the community our clients already belong to, not somewhere far removed from it. Recovery doesn’t happen in a bubble. It happens at work, at school, at the dinner table, on the train, and in the friendships and routines that make up a real life. So we built our program to be accessible to the people around us, tailored to the young men and families of greater Chicagoland, and rooted in the same neighborhoods where our clients are building their lives after treatment.

It also means community is part of the treatment itself. Our groups are small and peer-focused, our staff includes people in long-term recovery, and our clients get to know one another as more than a face in a room. Healing tends to happen when people feel known and supported, and we think that’s easier to build close to home.

Where You’ll Find Us

Our offices are located in Northfield, Illinois, right in the heart of Chicago’s North Shore, home to many of the families and young men we work with. But you don’t have to live or work on the North Shore to be part of our community. We welcome clients from across the entire Chicago metropolitan area.

We sit directly off the Edens Expressway, with close proximity to I-294, so whether you’re coming from the North Shore, the city, the western suburbs, or anywhere in between, getting to us is straightforward. That’s one less obstacle on days when just showing up can already feel like a lot.

If you’re wondering whether we’re a realistic option for you, reach out. We’re happy to talk through travel time, schedules, and what getting here consistently would look like for you.

Referring Clinicians and Schools

We work alongside therapists, psychiatrists, school counselors, deans and college wellness offices across the Chicago area. If you already have a clinician in your corner, they stay in the picture. We prioritize ongoing communication with any referring or outside provider so care stays coordinated rather than fragmented.
